RIDE PROGRAM FOR ELDERS AND ONTARIO WORKS CLIENTS
- Transportation for Elders – two days per week: Tuesdays and Thursdays AND Transportation for Ontario Works Clients – Every 1st and 15th of the month.
- Driver must see the Ontario Works Administrator to obtain a list of participants for the Elders and Ontario Works Clients.
- There must be a minimum of three (3) Elders or Ontario Works Clients participating.
- Special requests must be made 24 hours in advance and be approved by the Ontario Works Administrator. Special Requests such as, workshops/training; tobacco for ceremonies/pow-wow; ceremonies; attendance at meetings (rides should be reimbursed, if possible).
- The vehicle must be returned to the Band Office by 4:30 p.m. everyday and picked up in the morning after 9:00 a.m.
- The driver must supply a driver's abstract in order to drive vehicle.
- The driver will be paid an hourly rate of $15.00/hr, if overnight is required, then $75.00 will be paid as flat rate in addition to 8 hours worked.

RECREATION/COMMUNITY CENTER
Responsible for planning, developing and implementing all social, recreational and special events for members of the community
- Coordinates and supervises a variety of physical activities and programs for all age groups
- Maintains the community gymnasium and community fitness centre including all equipment
- Schedules use of recreational facilities
- Promotes fitness and healthy lifestyles
